Copper is an excellent conductor, cold or heat spread rapidly through the material. Copper Mugs do not make the drink cold but keep it cold longer. They also make it seem colder than it would if you were drinking it out of a regular glass or mug.

MOSCOW MULE

Moscow mules are refreshing cocktails usually drank on hot summer days, but also used on holidays due to their strong ginger flavor. They are made with vodka, spicy ginger beer, and lime juice, garnished with a slice of lime and mint leaves.  These drinks are delicious ,very easy to make, and popularly served in copper mugs.

Despite its name and main ingredient, the Moscow Mule was not created in Russia. It’s a red-blooded American cocktail, cooked up in Manhattan in 1941 by three men in the beverage industry: one a distributor, one a maker of ginger beer, and one a maker of vodka.

MOSCOW MULE RECIPE

Ingredients: . vodka . lime juice . ginger beer Directions:

  1. Squeeze 1/2 oz lime juice into a Moscow Mule mug and drop in the spent shell.

  5. Serve with a stirring rod.
